Our Messy Play classes are hosted in venues across Galway City and surrounding areas. We provide a range of sensory activities using age appropriate materials that keep your child stimulated and engaged for up to 1 hour. Sessions are educational yet superbly fun for both children and adults!

What is Messy Play?
Messy Play is based solely on materials and their properties. A Childs curiosity for squishing, pouring, tasting and mess making is completely natural and allows them to develop their senses. It's also incredibly fun and never fails to entertain due to its variety of materials, which children are free to explore at their own pace.
About Us
Hello! I'm Tay,
I started Lets get Messy with the intention of providing a fun, stimulating, safe place for young children. As a mum of two young children, I have struggled to find local activities that accommodate both my girls age and interests as well as suit me in terms of location. Thats why I decided to start Messy Play - As a Childminder, I created lots of activities for the children in my care which mostly included natural every day materials that made A LOT of MESS. Not long after becoming a Childminder, I realised how creative I could be and my passion for setting up new and interesting activities for the kids. I always knew the passion was there, going back 10+ years I always enjoyed the creative side to my time as a Nursery nurse and a Nanny. If there's one thing I have learned during my many years in Childcare, its that, children LOVE to get MESSY!
